Oh hey, look who’s back again.
Tonight I bring you five recolors of that snazzy little dress from Apartment Life (I’m on an Apartment Life Resurrection Spree, apparently). I’m supposed to be doing any other number of things right now (hence the title, not to mention a really obscure song reference), including pooking some hair for the lovely Miss Murder, but…the dresses…they call to me.
Please pardon my unladylike models; they weren’t feeling particularly cooperative today.
The textures are from the teenage bohemian ensemble that came with…Free Time, I think? As you can see, I had a bit more success with the solid-colored dress - hence there are a couple of custom colors of those. I *might* recolor the other designs, if there’s any interest.
You will need Apartment Life for these dresses to work in your game.

It occurred to me tonight, while browsing through Bodyshop, that I’ve never seen any recolors of the kinda-not-really steampunk mesh that came with Apartment Life. And since I need recolors of everything, I figured why not do it myself?
They’re rather simple recolors, but I’m still delighted with the results. The pants texture was pillaged from mah favorite jeans by the uber-talented Gelydh and the tops are Maxis, treated to the evil Hue/Sat/Lum slider in Photoshop.
Unless someone corrects me, you need Apartment Life for these to show up in your game. Let me know if I’m retarded/wrong as usual.

This is my first hair retexture/recolor attempt, but I’m actually really happy with the results. I’ve been wanting to do something with this hair style by Anto for awhile now, and what better than awesome Project Mayhem neons from our own lovely Pooklet?
There are six colors total, using both Pook’s texture edits and color actions. See, I even managed not to frig up the braids!
The meshes are included (there appear to be four of them, just to confuse me, I presume), but you can find the originals here.

Why there’s still even a debate over this is utterly beyond me. It’s a tax, guys, plain and simple.
I’m more interested in the beginning of this video than what America’s Best Former President has to say. Quote the news anchor: “A certain number of signs and images at last weekend’s big Tea Party march on Washington and at other recent events have featured racial and other violent themes…”. So why is it that none of the signs shown in the footage leading up to Mister Carter’s statements reveal any “racial or violent themes”? You’re telling me no one at the incredibly left-leaning MSNBC thought to capture footage of these hateful signs?
I think it’s safe to call BS on this one.
